- Theory Test - ADI part 1
- Multiple choice theory test based around the highway code. The test compromises of 100 multiple choice questions with a pass mark of 85 %.
- The second part of the test is a hazard perception test. The minimum score you must get to pass is 57/75.
- You must past both parts of this test at the same to progress.
- Driving Ability Test - ADI part 2.
- The second test is an advance driving test. Candidates can expect to drive for approximately one hour demonstrating a high standard of driving expertise with a minimum of faults.
- Instructional Ability Test - ADI part 3
- The third and final one is a test of your ability to teach at a national standard. You will have to demonstrate in a one hour lesson to an examiner the skills you'll be teaching to a learner driver.
